thanks! i agree, '01-'02 & '08-'09 were his finest moments.

it's really "old hat" for Bill at this point.
Yup, the season where Brady went down and they still win 11 games with Matt Cassell ranks right up there, along with the first Super Bowl.

Yeah, I'd like to take back that post. Confusement.

Deion Branch ranks pretty low on the Boston Traitor Scale, right?

He lives in Indy, so it's more about just adding another body to a depleted WR roster. Since he didn't play for the Pats this year, I really doubt he'll reveal much on this year's offense vs. what the Colts know.
Should be a great game.

Now that Hernandez has officially - via a warrant made public - been linked to two add'l murders, I can't think of a more unusual and challenging distraction for a group of players to have to play through.
I mean, this guy was literally in your locker room (imagine a co-worker you sit next to) and then POOF, he's gone because he may have killed one person, and was potentially involved in two other killings while you were working with him.
These Pats are mentally tough - I think it's been the untold story of the season.
Here's the story:

Wasn't Hernandez considered a loner in the locker room? I'm not going to say it had no effect, but I have a feeling that this was a distraction that didn't last as long as it could have, and I have to think that by this point (playoffs!) they're well past it.

I thought the same when I read that, Nick. If the noise doesn't help them, they cancel it out.
Also, FPM.

Why is Brady holding for the extra points?

Their punter got hurt. Gostkowski has also been doing double duty as the punter.

What kind of false reconnaissance will Marquice Cole give the Broncos?

Not a big fan of regional covers, but for what it's worth:

The different regional covers suck. Choose one team and stick with it.

LOL
Sorry Niners
Isn't that actually a good thing for the Niners?
