Same here, took me by complete fucking surprise when I was watching the game...only I thought I heard Rusty Cage in the commercial, not Outshined... :|

Me too but I'm not holding my breath; Matt's going to be busy with the daily grind for the next few months.

Got to see soundgarden tonight.
No doubt these boys can play but maybe they shouldn't.
A gig shouldn't be hard work. No energy whatsoever. Bored by about 5 songs in and they looked more bored than anyone.
They can play is about the nicest thing I can say right now.

Sometimes a gig CAN be hard work for no other reason than it just happens to be one of those nights.

Limo Wreck played at this gig (assuming it's Dublin). First time since '94. Definite bunk.

Indeed. Also, these guys are in their late 40s/early 50s and they play music that is often quite complex. They aren't going to get up on stage and jump around like fucking Blink 182.

I certainly didn't want or expect that. But it was totally devoid of any energy of charisma.
I love SG and Chris' solo stuff can be great, but he's simply unable to channel any energy of charisma into his performance.

'This is one if our favourite places to play'
Really?
One terrible awful gig in 95 and this one?
Perhaps he meant his solo shoe and Matt being here a good few times with Pj
But the whole thing. I'm blaming Chris solely. It may as well have been a cardboard cutout. And it's not just me either, the gig has divided fans here, bitterly online last night and today

He must have been really out of it and unhappy if he wanted to play "Limo Wreck".
