When any great movement, with potentially great ideals and dreams, gets this big - it just becomes a mess.

Earlier today I was priming/staining the deck. I kept checking his in between coats and I didn't see a musical performance once.

I have no desire to see shows in such a massive environment.

I was in the same city that Pearl Jam was playing and I had no desire to make their show part of my trip.

You know what was fun? Live 8. That was how to do a benefit thing.

guys, the worst part is my mom just texted and said, "I see Pearl Jam is about to be on tv".

of the 25 years I've been into PJ, I never opened up to my parents about that world. They heard me listening in my room, but that's about it. They never saw me watch a concert VHS or DVD or anything. So this will be their first exposure to a live PJ show.

They're gonna think I'm so lame.
