We won’t know. He’s waiting for the break of dayyyy.

Perhaps this thing closes with Saturday in the Park.

I did that stuff in parenthesis. I don't know what 25 or 6 to 4 is, and he didn't reference the original in the post in a way I could recognize, so no "(cover)."

That being said, please educate me.

25 or 6 to 4 is a song by Chicago off their second album. One of their better known songs from the pre-Cetera ballad era.

And I would never have thought he’d do something so mainstream.

he probably just hijacked the first few chords

that song is way too diverse for a member of pearl jam to properly re-create

Peter Cetera does do least vocals on 25 or 6 to 4 , though.

Maybe Jeff is going to cover Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You (which features the exact same riff) but he mislabeled it, an honest mistake that a Led Zeppelin song would sound so similar to a Chicago song, and at least that answers the need to eliminate the horn section.

Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You is a song that, well, I'm just sick of it. If I never hear it again, that's alright by me

But I guess I'd listen to Jeff Ament sing it.

Magnificently, too, I might add. But he does the most vocals.

Why? Peter Cetera plays a pretty mean bass.

Also if anyone listened to the stream how is the album?

Thanks!

Serious question: If everyone is getting their music digitally these days what is the point of a pre-order?

Part 2 of question: Do you really think a Jeff Ament solo album will be popular enough that hard copies sell out during the “regular” public sale, to the point where you would need an inside track via fan club pre-order to secure yourself one?

1) lots of people listen to records, and lots of the jamily likes to collect this stuff on vinyl
2)theyre probably not pressing that much of it anyway
