But thats because we might be burnt out with betterman. Its actually an amazing song.
it is a perfect ‘pop’ rock song

they go older (back to 1899 I think?) but deteriorate in condition; I'm looking forward to receiving it!

Once upon a time I had a more recent reprint. Not at all rare or anything (as far as I know). It's a great book. It's probably buried in a storage unit in Kansas somewhere right now.
But I'd love to have a vintage printing. Super jealous.

wow I hadn't heard the organ-only version of Better Man before, it's great; did PJ ever make the organ sound so good as it does in this song?

My friends bought me one for my birthday (amazing present!) It's a cool book isn't it?
I winced at some of the entries but then remembered that, when I was growing up, my mum and dad had a 1970s copy of some Reader's Digest medical encyclopedia which listed homosexuality as a "disease" with "no known cure"

wow, yeah, queer history is a trip
it's a fascinating book; I had hoped this copy would be in *slightly* better condition, the binding is together but a little fragile and torn in spots, so I won't be reading it all that often, but I've just found a place for it on my shelf

True story - about twenty years ago, I was exploring an abondoned building with some friends and found a copy of this book amongst the garbage strewn about. I didn't take it at the time, but I wish I had.

As I recall, it was a nurse's residence back in the day. It's since been demolished.
