I went into Audacity and plugged some of the isolated guitar leads from "Girl You Have No Faith in Medicine" into the jam section of a recent version of "Of the Earth." I'm listening to it on loop as I watch for the mail. It's late and tomorrow's Sunday, but you never know when they might stop by to drop off something that accidentally fell between the seats..

Won't happen with FedEx and unless you had it shipped to a business address. FedEx Ground doesn't ship to residential zones on Monday unless it is for expedited service or if it is relayed to USPS for delivery which usually slows delivery down by a business day depending on your specific area. Mine says Ground shipping but B said his states a Monday delivery so they might have used a different method due to the amount of these going out. The tracking on mine suggests it hasn't been picked up from them yet but even that isn't reliable sometimes with these carriers.

Do they always have a slide guitar on Deep, or is that unique to this recording?

The main lead line is done by stone on a slide. From day 1.

The organ on Half Full sounds awesome. This whole recording reminds me of Riot Act an awful lot, and I wish they'd go back to that sort of sound for their next one.

It's a pretty rich sounding set, except for Life Wasted, which has never come close to how great the studio version is.
