Re: Post-Strike Baseball Tournament: Semifinals!
Verlander vs. Hamels it is.
I'm going to the Sox-Rays game, so I won't be around for a good chunk of the night, but if all four teams still left want me to run another game or two (either before I leave or after I get back), I'm game. I'm gonna need to be focusing on Packers-Lions on Sunday anyways.

Wow, K-Rod gets two outs in the ninth before going BB, HR, 1B, walk-off 2B to blow the save. These are intense games even when I'm just scanning through the boxscores!

You've got arguably the MVP of the tournament so far on the mound at home for game six. This is gonna be a big one.

Ya. Fuck it. Carpenter. Game 6. Same lineup. They've earned the chance to play this out, even if they get smashed. The way Santana has pitched I don't think it matters.

I wish everyone would stop saying how good Santana is.

Re: Post-Strike Baseball Tournament: Semifinals!
Nice managing, Skitch.
Welcome to the Finals, numbers.
I'm off to the game. Skitch, Argo, if you'd like me to run game seven when I get back tonight, just let me know. Otherwise, tomorrow afternoon we see who gets to face Johan Santana and his Winning By Numbers in the Finals.
