Spenno has been beating the "Trump's not that bad!" drum since 2016, pardon me if I'm sick of it.

I do laugh sometimes - the gif from a few years ago where he tackles the CNN logo outside a wrestling ring still makes me laugh. But he is a terrible human being and most likely our worst president ever. People fawning over a guy that they KNOW would stab them in the back if it benefitted him is beyond me.

And he’s paid more tax in the China than the US

This is great. The backflips and gymnastics his cronies are going to attempt to explain this away will be amazing.

I think it's a mix of things. On the one hand you have him trying to be funny, which often means being cruel but every so often is legitimately hilarious (like when he said John McCain is in hell). But I think the majority of the things that are funny about Trump are what happens whenever one of his neurons dies mid-sentence and he says something like "I'm a perfect physical specimen and I'm extremely young."

I still want to watch him die on live TV.

I've said it before but one of the most relatable things about Trump is how sincerely he hates his enemies and wants bad things to happen to them. I do think that factors in to his appeal.

Trump dying during the final debate would go a long way towards redeeming 2020.

I think that would be one of those tragic situations that leads to uncontrollable, unexplained laughing.

I don't think it'd be tragic at all this isn't King Lear.

The shit that comes out of his mouth is funny until it's not. Like when his supporters are plotting to kidnap a governor, or run over protestors with cars, or shoot and kill protesters.

It's easy to laugh at him because we've been conditioned to think heads of state don't publicly say the outrageous things he says every five seconds. That's most of his appeal...saying shit like he's in wwe or a reality show to ramp up the crowd. He's just a hype man on a continuous infomercial.

i think it would actually be the proverbial cherry on top -- pence (the presumptive nominee) would win.

This would worry me if Pence was remotely likable.

The reputation of Rudy Giuliani could be set for a further blow with the release of highly embarrassing footage in Sacha Baron Cohen’s follow-up to Borat.
In the film, released on Friday, the former New York mayor and current personal attorney to Donald Trump is seen reaching into his trousers and apparently touching his genitals while reclining on a bed in the presence of the actor playing Borat’s daughter, who is posing as a TV journalist.

Following an obsequious interview for a fake conservative news programme, the pair retreat at her suggestion for a drink to the bedroom of a hotel suite, which is rigged with concealed cameras.

After she removes his microphone, Giuliani, 76, can be seen lying back on the bed, fiddling with his untucked shirt and reaching into his trousers. They are then interrupted by Borat who runs in and says: “She’s 15. She’s too old for you.”

Of course Rudy Giuliani is getting fooled by Borat in 2020. The guy may as well just start wearing clown makeup.
