one of my wife's college friends, who became a very close friend of hers is trans and they are one of the finest humans i've ever met.

does it ever get lost on some of you haters that trans people are just that?...people?

I know a few. Some are cool to hang out or work with, some are obnoxious assholes, and some are mentally unwell. My criticisms of the ideological movements of today have nothing to do with people as individuals (and indeed the modern attack on individualism in favor of group identity categories is an idea I find most repugnant).

Most of my disgust these days is directed at smug, nontrans, white guys acting like everyone who disagrees with them has some secret motive behind what they're saying. Fuck those nerds.

i know a few, and one of them is a great friend.
