Two of you put Racer 5 in your top 5? I mean it's drinkable, but really? Top 5?

Makes me LOL every time.dpupenya wrote:Two of you put Racer 5 in your top 5? I mean it's drinkable, but really? Top 5?
I love it. Perfect balance of drinkability and hoppy IPA goodness. Very crisp.dpupenya wrote:Two of you put Racer 5 in your top 5? I mean it's drinkable, but really? Top 5?
As an IPA I'd say it is right in line for what I'm looking for in drinkability, I also always get a sixer whenever I find it; that says something considering my purchasing habits. I'm also a big SN PA guy but having to choose one pale I went with ZD. Where's your list Dpup?turned2black wrote:I love it. Perfect balance of drinkability and hoppy IPA goodness. You lucky bastard. Olde English 800 was just narrowly edged out by Old Rasputin in my top 5dpupenya wrote:oasisfan35 wrote:As an IPA I'd say it is right in line for what I'm looking for in drinkability, I also always get a sixer whenever I find it; that says something considering my purchasing habits. Well like I said its drinkable and decent, just didn't see it as a top pick. Maybe since it's on draft at the 2 closest pizza joints from my house as well as heavily stocked in the Winco beer cooler around the corner I'm just jaded
St Ides
Steel Reserve
Natural Ice
King Cobra
Mickeys Bigmouth
And when I want just refreshment I fuck up some Zima's

I could pick a top 5 of beers with the same ease as picking a top 5 list of songs- never happen and often changing
What the hell does availability have to do with anything? I can get beer by Bell's, Founders, Dogfish Head, Green Flash, Odell, Avery and several other breweries at the convenience store a quarter-mile from my house. That doesn't mean those breweries don't make great beers.dpupenya wrote:oasisfan35 wrote:As an IPA I'd say it is right in line for what I'm looking for in drinkability, I also always get a sixer whenever I find it; that says something considering my purchasing habits.
