Sure, that's kind of what happened with Ferguson, eventually everyone went back to their jobs and at best "Black Lives Matter" became for a while this vague thing we needed to worry about but that didn't affect our day to day lives. But uhh... what jobs are folks going back to this summer?

Yeah. This was a perfect storm of a bad scenario. A lot of these people are probably running low on their 10 week stimulus check and are feeling desperate.

Many of them were likely running low even before covid. And some, I assume, are good people.
