"Hey, isn't Pres. Trump great? And I'm great. And conservatism is great."

God that was awful.

Goddammit McP.

Post in News and Debate with as much enthusiasm and gusto as you would posting in PJ Chat about the merits of Eddies' vocal tics.

What was Bannon even trying to do? The only time a man ever touched me like that, he was trying to give me a handy.

maybe he was trying to do that thing where you squeeze the fuck out of someone's knee until they laugh or cry or wet themselves.

I finished The Art of The Deal last night. Love him or hate him, everyone should read the book. If for nothing else, to understand how all these high rollers do business.

Can you just give us a quick summary?

Agreed, but this is interesting:
Bannon wrote: The third, broadly, line of work is what is deconstruction of the administrative state. And if you...

... every business leader we've had in is saying not just taxes, but it is — it is also the regulation. I think the consistent, if you look at these Cabinet appointees, they were selected for a reason and that is the deconstruction, the way the progressive left runs, is if they can't get it passed, they're just gonna put in some sort of regulation in — in an agency.

That's all gonna be deconstructed and I think that that's why this regulatory thing is so important.
This does not bode well for the EPA, FDA, etc. A lot of consumer protections are at risk here.

If Trump starts going after legal recreational weed, I might finally have something to protest.

I just started smoking it regularly again and it helps with my alcoholism.

I feel like he's got to be kidding himself or us on some of the Cabinet nominees, though. Knowing what I know about Bannon's ideology and things he has said, he can't be happy with someone like Mnuchin, Price or many of the Wall Street characters advising Trump. Bannon's expressed as much anger about the culpability of Wall Street in the economic crisis as any left-winger.

A quick summary isn't really enough to fully understand Trump's modus operandi, but I'll try...

"Fight back."

He's probably gotta walk a tight path here. Given Trump's ego, Bannon doesn't want to eclipse him as the brains behind the "progress" they are making.
