Rob is ALWAYS hurt. Getting Jrue was 100% the right move. You gotta give up something to get something. I'll miss him though. Excited and sad.
Congrats on landing an older Smart.
*but better
so much better because he's a two way player.

these are the risky bold moves you need to make with the Tatum/Brown window.

In case it's not obvious the only thing that could make this offseason worse for the Heat is trading for Harden.

4/5, do you listen to Le Betard at all. Those guys are still mainly just talking about the Dame trade and the big "FU" to Miami. It is coming off a little whiny.

Years ago I used to listen every day. Now I only listen for a specific reason or if the YT thumbnail catches me the right way. I specifically don't want to listen to them now lol. I listened to the immediate post-mortem the day of the trade and that's enough for me. I don't want to focus on it.

I can definitely see them being whiny about it. I think they're right that initial media reaction to the Heat's potential offer of Herro, Jovic, Jaquez, 3 firsts, swaps, and salary filler was absurdly over the top negative and may very well have poisoned the well. But whatever. It happens. It's a bummer that I don't even really want to think about the NBA right now even though my team was in the Finals last year. But hey. Maybe Herro makes a leap that nobody thinks is possible and this season is absurdly fun and Jimmy actually has a chance to get a ring.

Last time I was like this Hayward broke his foot in the first game hopefully I get to game 2 before I return to my natural state of Celtics disillusionment lol.

Chris Paul is either going to fit perfectly as the orchestrator of the second unit or he will be traded by February. There's really nothing in between.

Tatum still can't shoot and Brown still can't dribble but other than that everything's on track after the first pre-season game lol.

We’re supposed to trust the opinion of “pretty great puns” from someone who posted State Of Love And Buck?

But what about that PP?

I believe Tatum was planning to have surgery on his wrist in the off season but got alternate diagnosisisissss and decided to not. Let's see how the wrist goes this year. And I swear I actually saw JB dribble lefty a few times without throwing the ball away. Huzzah!

Love PP. He's a great story and I'm glad he got his payday. I'm not convinced he can be a real contributor in the playoffs but he should be serviceable in the regular season. He's one of those tweeners that can dominate G League competition but is borderline in the league. It crazy how that works. I'm hoping he has a higher ceiling than I suspect. I'm rooting for him. Tatum's wrist in non shooting not looking forward to him playing it up all season.
