Pretty decent piece on Morant. He is saying he's gotten help and changed, but seems to still be hanging with the two people that are the worst influence on him, his father and a friend.

I kinda wish the Celtics weren't good this year so I could root for the Bucks. Unfortunately I must loathe them.

My wife has officially crossed the god damn line. Watching Celtics v Miami the other night and she is actively supporting Miami! What the actual fuck?? I get that Jimmy Buckets is her favourite player (something about his arms, I don't know) but seriously...
I'm very glad the Celtics won otherwise there may well have been a domestic incident at ours...

I want to say good for her for having good taste, but this is a declaration of war.

That Spurs/Suns game was bananas.
Wemby is gangly and prone to mistakes, but his give a shit + natural talent is going to make him really good really soon. He can block a three from basically anywhere on that side of the court.

I loved Durant's smug look after the ball was stolen. Like "I'm Kevin Durant, I
always get that call!"

If we assume health for him, Wemby is the most sure thing ever. Everybody else better get their rings now before he learns how to play and gets a squad around him.

It looks like the Bucks' defence could be a bit of an issue.

Ridiculous ego aside, what do you think this means for the Clippers chance to actually win a conference title? At a cursory glance, their roster is pretty old, but with some solid (if declining) stats at the individual level.
Is there an argument to be made that if they take the Sabremetrics approach, this could be their year?
And what about Lue? I know absolutely nothing about that guy.

Lue is a great coach. I just don't know if he can manage all of the personalities/egos of so many stars on the wrong side of their primes. That being said, I think they will be in that second tier of West contenders with the Lakers, Suns, and Warriors.

No. They have no chance. They are the 2023 Colorado Buffaloes football of the NBA.

So who knows…If he can get everyone to share the stage, and maybe a couple injuries happen elsewhere, this could be a big season for them. Exciting stuff.

Even if the Sonics were back starting this season, I don’t think I could get excited for this
