I did not intend to sound patronizing towards or criticize Bammer, just wanted to point out there are valid medical reasons why a doctor would need to know what biological sex a patient is vs what they identify as and also point out that if a patient doesn't feel welcome in the situation it will lead to poor quality care. I am supportive of and accepting of adults identifying as whatever they feel they are as that is none of my or anyone else's business other than their doctors. Protecting the well-being of kids struggling with dysphoria requires a very different approach.
