I get kind of bored on days when there aren't a ton of customers and I'm just at my desk doing my work. Is this how my co-workers (who are too lazy to stand up and help customers and make me help everyone) feel every day? These poor fools

My colleagues are cowards, I swear to god. I come across as a mild-mannered type, but I am at least not a friggin coward.

The two of them came in this morning bragging about how they scolded an old man who was trying to slip paperwork under the door at the end ofbthe day yesterday. They sure told him.

Oh my god you should've seen how quickly they both turned their heads away from him when he walked in the door this morning. They were afraid of him. A phone call came in at the exact moment and the one guy had the gall to tease me for trying to pick it up! "You couldn't reach for the phone fast enough." As I walked over to go help the old man they had been so proud of themselves for yelling at I told him "Well, I didn't start a fight with the guy."

Then I say good morning to the old man and the other lady who had been bragging and then whipped her head away from the old man to avoid eye contact said "oh, I can help him". Mind you, I had to walk past her to get to him. I just ignored her.

Two of my colleagues yelled at an old man yesterday. This morning, my colleagues came in and bragged about how mean they were to the old man.

When the old man himself came in, my colleagues avoided eye contact with him. I tried to get out of dealing with a customer my colleagues had already pissed off, and they made fun of me for that. When I called them out that that was unfair, all of a sudden they were willing to talk to the guy.

But it was too late. They had revealed themselves as worms. Dumb as rock worms.

They pissed the guy off, bragged about it all morning, then ran away when he showed up. Why should I have to deal with the fallout of their being rude to someone? That's called writing a check your ass can't cash. I am nice to people so they don't get mad
