I think a lot of people find the last two or three albums (some four) mediocre, but "don't like Pearl Jam" is a bit disingenuous.

What does it mean when you like Pearl Jam better when they aren't trying to be Pearl Jam?

Pearl jam and I went through a long, bitter divorce, but with time,I think we'll look back on our time together as a good thing, once their terrible betrayal is far enough in the past. Who knows, one day we may even be able to be in the same room together without fighting.

It would just feel routine and obligatory at this point. No real emotional connection.
