I dunno what you guys do in your spare time but I have isolated the bass track from every song on all the studio albums (not the Xmas singles, Lost dogs, remixes, etc.) and the answer to the “Best bassline / Best Bass Solo?” question might surprise you.

I remember PJ went on some gag-heavy radio show in 2002 before Riot Act was released, and the premiered Save You. Someone captured the stream. I played that shitty recorded mp3 a zillion times.

The radio hosts were terrible. Ed barely said anything, Mike tried to be cool.
