To the surprise of no one, I thought the Point Break remake was a lot better than the original. The relationship between Utah and Bohdi carried a lot more weight and significance, and the clearly shot-on-location set-pieces were quite staggering. They cross the line from being merely impressive to being movingly expressive. The huge amount of passion Ericson Core poured into this project is palpable; it has such a boots-on-the-ground earnestness, similar to the films of John Stockwell. It's only real issue is some wonky editing/pacing (mostly in the first 20 minutes), but overall I found it very beautiful.

Point Break.

Damn what a masterpiece. Its stunning, the framing is gorgeous and intense, and Utah and Bodhi....that ending.

I would never. However, a girl I dated for a while always wanted to watch what I considered poor movies, and upon a viewing of the last Twilight movie on a otherwise really nice date night, I couldn't quite hide my distaste for it. Looked up the score and it was about where I had imagined. I mentioned it to her, and she went all Han Solo on me: "never tell me the score".

All the Twilight movies are massively superior to TFA and TLJ

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
