There is no way a show tomorrow is a good idea.

I actually liked that lineup better. One weekend is a good thing but too much of a good thing?

The tour vids do sound good ALTHOUGH I sometimes hear stuff from 93, 98, 03, 06 and remember that PJ used to legit have some of the greatest live performances in all of music ever, whereas now they are just good.

i blame Matt for that, he seems to be the most lifeless PJ performer live, always seems like he is rushing through songs, and always playing the most generic beats like a person who is playing the role of a generic pop-rock drummer as opposed to a drummer that actually feels something in the music

this is the exact opposite of my feelings about Matt in soundgarden

but will not divert this thread into a drummer debate

even though it is obvious the energy of richard stuverud added 100x more life to the PJ shows he played in

now Matt is back and PJ are 'doing their dayjobs'
i'm not a drummer, but just curious, can you define the generic beats term? To my ears the most generic drum beats are the ones from satans bed, it's so bad and reminds me of the drum machine beat, as well as not for you, the plain and simple beats.
On the other hand what happened to their guitar sound, where's the distortion?

I went to buy tix at stubhub for the 9/11 show and I'll need a $1,000 for one tix....I've used the secondary market before. this is the most marked up I've ever seen it

Dynamic pricing is elevating the price floor. It's a choice bands make when then use TM:

It's also a replacement show and they are only playing two shows (including the satellite radio show) in NYC. And no Boston show so I would be coming from there.
