I'm not in the US, but I note that DOTC has charted better on AAA than modern or alt rock charts. That means it's being best pushed to an 'older' audience.

was listening to this again this morning and just want to say cheers to Michael McCready on this one. the shit he interjects with the guitar is really head turning and takes the song to a new place.

His part comes in at the perfect time and lifts the song

I was super shocked that he came upw ith these parts. Sounds so out of his wheelhouse and his sense of rhythm is pretty fucking solid here. We know mike as a shredder, but this is pretty goddamn smart playing on his part.

Yeah, it’s nothing special. Kinda wish he went off a little with it - and not in his typical pentatonic manner.

Regardless, what he does works. Still digging the song a lot. Just not listening to it for awhile.
