I think it's funny that they've pulled Reigns off of TV until Wrestlemania because the crowd hates him, and they are pushing Ambrose in his absence and the crowd loves him, and then when Reigns comes back Ambrose will probably go back to being Reigns sidekick.

The smart thing would be to have him beat HHH and face Roman at mania.

yeah..considering the crowd cheered hhh when he beat down reigns, and the opposite occurred when hhh beat down ambrose

not that i like either of them, but wwe will just continue to ignore this

i want rollins to go main babyface soon after his return anyway

I would have Ambrose win, and then have Ambrose-Lesnar be for the title.

Assuming Ambrose doesn't win the title, I would have his match with Brock be as brutal as they can get away with with Ambrose being "unconscious" for the finish like Austin-Bret Hart.

Went to a house show last night in minne. Charlotte got busted open on the apron. Blood everywhere. No contest. Cuz they need another star out right now.

They'll stop a match at a house show that they'd let finish on TV. As long as it's just that she got busted open, she'll be fine.

I did read that Emma got legit knocked out at an NXT show last night.

I would like this.

Then have HHH say the winner of Ambrose/Lesnar and HHH/Reigns be for the title at Mania. So the title would be defended twice. One last way to try and screw Ambrose and Reigns. I could see something clusterfucky like that happening.

hey, i was there, too, the first time in probably 10-15 years i went to a non-televised event. picked up $72 tix for $20 on the target center site the day of the show. only 3,000 people or so, which was kind of surprising, but they have been here a lot it seems in the past few years, most recently for raw a little over two month ago.

miz/styles opened. match wasn't great, but it was cool to see styles in person for the first time. miz was hilarious at the start, doing a rick rude impression in rude's home state ('what i'd like right now is for all you fat, out-of-shape...') before getting in an argument with a guy dressed as deadpool in the front row. deadpool made it even funnier by casually putting on his headphones while miz was yelling at him.

ambrose/owens was the pre-intermission match. it was my first time seeing owens, too. at one point he called out a guy sitting by himself a few rows up in the stands who was wearing a unicorn horn. that was one thing that was cool about the house show - a lot more crowd interaction by the wrestlers than at the tv events.

sucked that the women's match ended the way it did. i think charlotte has been pretty good since the heel turn, and lynch won me over with her royal rumble match. so i was looking forward to seeing what they'd do here but charlotte's injury happened only a couple minutes in and that was that. lynch was visibly concerned and so you felt bad for both of them in that situation. looks like charlotte wrestled the next night, so nothing major.

main event was a relatively ho-hum kane/bray wyatt street fight. match was fine for what it was, and crowd was into it once the weapons showed up. match ended with kane putting wyatt through a table to send the crowd home happy.

styles over miz
swagger/young over axel/rose
ryback over neville
new day over usos
ambrose over owens by dq
-intermission-
charlotte and lynch was a no contest
kalisto over sheamus
kane over wyatt
ah, copperplate, a font for the truly modern man.

Yeah, it was. In fact, I think moving to the 3 hour Raw is what ended it.

Raw was 2 hours when Nitro was 3, I don't think they went to the 3 hour Raw until like 2012.
