This is why I can't get behind modern progressives. They enjoy others suffering far too much.
I do honestly enjoy watching people suffer for actions they took out of bigotry or a dislike of difference, yeah.

You already said this.

If I'm up for reelection in 2018 and I'm trying to get a feel for how all this unrest plays out at the ballot box, I'm watching these special elections.

if this is not a pineapple ban, you tell me what is this really?

So, Trump is trying to sow mistrust amongst his supporters for the media, and it appears to be working. What I think is more interesting is how quickly liberals seem to be taking up the media's cause.

Say what you will about Trump, but when he calls CNN fake news he's not exactly wrong.

Of course liberals are immediately defending the media at all costs. It has been their ideological mouthpiece for years.

I like how freedom of religion in America has developed to the point that you have to be Christian in America. Even if you don't want to be.

I don't think that's accurate, though. I still feel that Christianity was a far more assumed/required state in the 80's and much of the 90's, than today. The Republican Party is just trying to bring that speak back in, after a decade without, and happens to be doing so at a time when surrounding events make anything they do feel like part of an oppressive effort.

Also they're not very good at speaking that dialog anymore.

Say what you want about CNN, but a president at war against the media, trying and succeeding to discredit anything and everything that criticizes him, is how fascism can rise to power.

Say what you will about America, but thirteen bucks still gets you a hell of a lot of mice.

It's how it DID rise to power.
