So, I came home from lunch and the mailman appears to have driven his truck into my mailbox and snapped it off the post. He left a note and feels very bad.

I suppose he'll be punished enough. I opened a ticket with the post office to see if I can get this paid for.
My HOA probably wants a very specific iron scroll under the box.

Maybe it was a punk kid who is trying to pin the blame on the mailman. Was it signed "The Mailman"?

I don't care if he gets in trouble. If I was a mailman, I'd probably hit a mailbox every day.
I just want $50 for my repairs.
