For those not too into Pumpkin Beers, I really recommend this one. It's the easiest drinking Pumpkin Ale I've had.

I had some Yuengling Light. It's my go to cheap beer (that or National Bohemian).
I wish we had Yuengling around here.

The last few times I've been to the store I've picked up a six pack of Boulevard's Heavy Lifting IPA. It is hitting the sweet spot right now and the cans are really convenient for tailgating.

I'll have to take your word for it. Man, I hate pumpkin beers.

Ditto. Pumpkin flavored anything sucks.

I don't care for pumpkin flavored stuff, but Ballast Point Pumpkin Down is actually pretty good.

If someone is going to make it in a way I could like it, it would probably be Ballast Point.

fruit and vegetable flavors don't do well for me in beers. Unless that vegetable is hops

I generally can't stand fruit beers or winter spiced beers. I find them really cloying. And, an almost instant headache.

Alright, next weekend is the "World" Beer Festival. Here's the list of beers. What should I be gunning for?

Well if Duck Rabbit has the Milk Stout on draft, then that for sure.

I can't say enough about the Devil's Backbone brewing. We are going up there (again) in a couple of weeks. The Vienna Lager is fantastic.

Also, who doesn't love Old Speckled Hen?!

Guys, I tend to agree. Not really into fruit flavor beer, and most winter spiced beers are terrible. Brooklyn Pumpkin Ale is nice. It's the "lite" version of Pumpkin Beer with very nice carbonation and subtle hints of cinnamon and nutmeg.

So you're headed up to VA? That place is like two and 1/2 hours from me.

Yeah I have an aunt and uncle that live in Lynchburg. We go up there in the fall because it is so beautiful. That brewery is only about 20 minutes from them, and they have a decent restaurant associated with it. I also usually get a round of disc golf in with Doc Van Nostrand and Chloe.

If you haven't been, I highly recommend it. It is in an area of the mountains with about 4 or 5 other breweries as well. Makes for a fun fall day.

Sounds fun, I'll check it out one of these days. Maybe even this weekend. We have a move looming, so now may not be the best time, but maybe after the dust settles.

I'm generally not a fan of fruity beer either (well, except for the typical IPA citrus), but I do like an occasional Blushing Monk and a local brewery makes a peach ale that's pretty nice on a hot day.

I do regret not buying VIP a little bit, but it doubled the price, and I've never been at the Beer Fest complaining that I haven't tried enough beers.

Also, with 6 breweries outside of the US, I'm not sure if "World Beer Festival" still applies.
