I feel your pain right now. I will be in Chicago later this year and the Bulls are playing twice during my stay. They have been my favorite team since I was a little girl and I have yet to see them in person. If I could get to a game, I would be able to cross off #1 and #2 from my bucket list during the trip. On one hand, I do not want to pay an insane amount for tickets, but on the other hand I do not want to be up in the nosebleeds for my first NBA game. I would like to be able to see the players somewhat.

Honestly, the upper section at the United Center is not bad at all. I wouldn't hesitate to buy seats up there, but that's just me.

Yeah I sat 2nd row from the top for playoffs two years ago. Had good sight lines and enjoyed the game. Still too expensive though...

Thanks for the posts, guys. =) With concerts and sporting events, my mentality is as long as I am there, I do not care where I sit. I just thought it would be nice to sit a little bit closer, I was looking at the 200 sections, for my first NBA game. I have seen pictures and live video of the UC and the view from just about anywhere really does not look bad at all. I have found a few websites where people are selling their upper level (300's) tickets for under $100. I will just pick one of those sections so I can at least be there, especially since the game I want to see is against the Nets. I really enjoyed their games against the Bulls last season.

Kevin Love gave you a double double every night on a team with nothing but him on it. Why would he play defense there was no point?

Probably around the Eastern Conference Finals if they don't make a trade or two.

I think you may be underrating the Bulls a bit. I think the combination of Gasol, Mirotic, McDermott, and Rose are going to jump start their offense. We know their defense is going to be elite.

Otherwise, I agree.

True. I also don't have much confidence in D Rose these days, so there's that. I view him as a huge wildcard.

Have you watched any of the USA exhibition games? He has shown flashes of his old self. I think the World Cup will be a great experience for him.

The thing is, Lebron plays really good defense right? Defense is mostly effort. It's not like Love can't play defense he just wasn't.

Of those 3 the least Im sold on playing defense is Irving.

Irving can play defense, I just don't think he has any interest in doing so.
