Most of these were pretty easy choices; there's five teams I really like in this thing (Brett's, Heathen's, bart's, theplatypus' and mine) and four of them are here.

Brett
theplatypus
Heathen
knee tunes
Birds in Hell

Kaius v knee tunes was quite difficult as I'm not crazy about either team; I think knee tunes mainly wins out by virtue of not having a John Butler song.

Spenno, would you have liked my team better or worse with the inclusion of Beastie Boys song?

Also, same question but Garth Brooks instead of Beastie Boys.

Really wanted to draft this wonderful song, was saddened to discover it was initially released in 1988.

There are some great teams here, and some that were pretty close. But there were quite a few songs that I had never heard before, that required listening. This made it a little tricky, since most of the time I need to hear a song several times to get a better feel for it, and that determines if I'll still like it in the long run. Often, if I like a song immediately - I'll be over it quite quickly. Whereas, songs that grow on me over time tend to remain favorites.

Really, I had to just vote on how I feel about the track listings today. After a few weeks of listening to the lists, some votes would likely change.

You could've used this cover version from the Boo Radleys in 1993:

That song always reminds me of 'So I Married An Axe-Murderer'.

I'm not much of a fan of their 90s output, but my top ten would probably be...

Wrong Number
Want (these first two are significantly ahead of everything else, and the rest aren't really in any order)
Jupiter Crash
Halo
From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea
A Letter to Elise
Never Enough
The Big Hand
Treasure
