Yeah, this was not one of Stevens's strongest opinions. Here's a good summation of why:Bi_3 wrote:elliseamos wrote:Yes, this seems easier and productive.

Any argument that concludes in “change the bill of rights” should be laughed out of existence. I would go so far to say when arguments like this are even proposed, they make the situation worse because then people’s minds go straight to slippery slope fears.

The play by play announcer for the Baltimore Ravens is named Gerry Sandusky. You can imagine all the things that got levied at his Twitter account in recent years.bune wrote:
Not anymore. Bots are getting pretty good at magnifying the smallest opportunity to sow discord (see 2016 election) and most young leftists don't exactly have 50hr/week office jobs.simple schoolboy wrote:I've already promoted this guy: https://twitter.com/hradzka?ref_src=tws ... r%5Eauthor
I don't think he's that far off (the idea that the right should try to emulate the left regarding organizing) , but I can't help but think if conservatives actually organized that there would be a huge number that would lose their jobs. Not Fascists, nothing crazy, but some guy that shows up some pro 2A event and gets doxxed. A mom and pop machine shop can ignore stupid twitter or facebook campaigns, but most people don't work there. A lot of people have to work at a faceless corporation and are therefore at risk.
The left has a different risk profile for firing. See: YVETTE FELARCA
