I’m watching one year at the time. Started with the 1910s, and I am now at 1956.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
To be fair, I typed that out in a very dark room.tragabigzanda wrote:*FascikatikgAnders wrote:I’ve now read a book about the true story behind The Wrong Man. Fascinating.

yeah I made that up...what’s your profession?Anders wrote:I do have a job, but during covid I have an office at home.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:he’s a stay at home father
This week however, I am on a delayed paternity leave, since my job needed me to come back two weeks early in January. So I traded it for a week off in April, and another in May.
We help businesses with customer service, IT, collecting debt, credit administration, legal administration, sales and other services. I was the first employee in 2015, as I had known the top guys for years. We’ve since grown exponentially, even through covid and changing laws. I am responsible for handling the largest clients and biggest cases, of course in cooperation with IT, lawyers etc. Probably not as exclusive as it sounds, but it is an interesting job.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:yeah I made that up...what’s your profession?Anders wrote:I do have a job, but during covid I have an office at home.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:he’s a stay at home father

It is based on the memoirs of André Devigny, a member of the French Resistance held in Montluc prison by the occupying Germans during World War II. Very well made French movie from 1956. Quite enjoyed it.Anders wrote:Starting Un condamné à mort s'est échappé ou Le vent souffle où il veut now.
