I'm back. Had a family emergency for the last week or so. Didn't watch either Heat game and wasn't even sure what was the better result for the Heat and their current/future draft picks. But Heat gonna Heat.Monkey_Driven wrote:Where is 4/5? We need to talk about the play-in legends, the Heat.

Re: NBA Thread
man, it's really hard to watch the knicks and, in particular, brunson play. the amount of lowering shoulders and torpedoing into defenders and constantly falling to the floor is pretty egregious.

Re: NBA Thread
The worst. Brunson, Trae Young, SGA (at times), Butler (at times), and Harden are so hard to watch. At least they don't blow the whistle as much for that crap in the playoffs. The NBA should really make it a point of emphasis to not call those at all.Chris_H_2 wrote:man, it's really hard to watch the knicks and, in particular, brunson play. the amount of lowering shoulders and torpedoing into defenders and constantly falling to the floor is pretty egregious.

Thanks. Unfortunately my dad passed away. A drunk driver crashed into him. Head on collision. But we're doing okay.Monkey_Driven wrote:Oh man, hope all is well.4/5 wrote:I'm back. Could definitely be my bias but I don't think Butler is in that same group. He's definitely elite at drawing fouls but I don't view him as a flailer like those other guys. He definitely draws fouls when initiating contact, though.Monkey_Driven wrote:The worst. Brunson, Trae Young, SGA (at times), Butler (at times), and Harden are so hard to watch. not panicking over the bucks. we'll even the series in milwaukee.
they tied indy in the second half, and actually won the second quarter. just gotta get out of the gate faster - home court should help that.

Fully expecting the Rockets to win tonight. Their offense can't get any worse, right?

Re: NBA Thread
Jesus Christ. I’m sure this place and this thread are an escape, but for your next post in it, I think you should tell us a good memory you have with your dad. I’d tell you I’d pray (I don’t) or I’ll keep you in my thoughts (I’m too preoccupied with my own bullshit), but I would genuinely love to read a positive memory - not even a story, really. An image. A habit. A seemingly banal moment that just stuck. Up to you. Something to honor his memory among a bunch of online gooners.Chris_H_2 wrote:sorry bud. hope you are all coping well.4/5 wrote:Yeah, it was last Saturday, we were with everybody for the last week or so.Monkey_Driven wrote:Oh dear, that's horrible.
