Why would Ashoka have to be helping the Rebels/Resistance? Yoda was on the sidelines for the OT, so there’s precedent for old Jedi staying out of things, at least directly.

She directly helped the Rebel Alliance. She was super involved. So while she doesn't have to help the Resistance, it makes sense that she would.

But I don't think it's out of line for her to sit out this new rebellion, necessarily. All depends on the reasoning and how is handled.

I think her face off with Vader had a hand in that. And we just don’t know where she was after that. She comes to Ezra out of nowhere in the world between worlds. So maybe she was just hanging out in there?

Ezra pulls her from the fight with Vader into the world between worlds.

Then she returns to the same location from which Ezra grabbed her (but it's "present day" not immediately after her fight with Vader; it's been a year or whatever). She's in front of that Sith temple. She walks in. That's all Rebels shows us.

From other canon sources we know that she followed a river of light inside the temple which leads her on a spiritual journey that changes her life forever. That is canon info but we don't know what any of that really means. We don't have specifics.

When she next emerges, it's ones year after Endor and she's all wise and wearing white robes. She and Sabine go to find Ezra.

Cool thank you.
So we don’t know where she’s been. Weird.

I would totally watch a Bo-Katan series. As long as Katee Sackoff stars, of course.

What i also liked about the episode was them suggesting that THE Mandalorian was an extremist

Totally agree. Din Djarin being adopted into a fundamentalist cult is a great twist/reveal. It allows us to see him in a new light. We have information he doesn't have. He's vulnerable. For once, we get to watch him struggle and question the world around him in a meaningful way.

That's the kind of stuff I hope this show continues to explore.

Also, the two different deliveries Bo-Katan gives "this is the way" in their respective situations was masterful. It really helped connect this show to the larger universe/world of Star Wars as the audience knows it. God, I love Bo-Katan!

It would be quite the lurch style wise for him to get into an existential crisis and realising everything he knows is wrong.

Not to say they shouldn’t.

This could be where Ahsoka comes in? Relating to him with her experience with the Jedi order?

slow building a core of new trilogy characters through syndication makes a lot of sense

So according to Katie Sackhoff, she's never met Rosario Dawson. That's not to say Ahsoka isn't in it, obviously, but they may not have any scenes together.

Also, apparently Rosario is the girlfriend of Cory Booker.

She would (Be instructied) to say that / it doesn’t really mean anything

Tbh I believe her. Ahsoka is probably the cliffhanger of it all.

There’s a showdown coming for the darksaber. Gideon has no idea how to use a lightsaber or the darksaber. I reckon it’ll be Ahsoka relieves him of it to give to her.

Given the way Bo-Katan left things with Din, I certainly don't expect to see her have a scene with Ahsoka this season.
