Yes! That!
It's effective. But I agree there's something very annoying about the trend. And the recurrent trending of such trends.

I acknowledge this is irrational

But when people use boner/dick/sexual metaphors to express how much they like a song

"This guitar riff gives me a boner"
"That chorus is just orgasmic"
"This song tickled my prostate and made me ejaculate violently"

Shut up

They're not saying they have the most lakes, just that they have 10,000.

They know exactly what they’re doing.

High heels.

At the factory, people tend to wear sensible shoes. There is work to be done, one must walk around and stand and move in a safe, comfortable way. But today there was a lady, probably some hoity toity senior vice president of supply chain coordination logistics support blah blah blah, walking around the factory in heels.

And why? Is it truly more beautiful than normal shoes that won't cause you pain and damage your toes and inhibit your ability to move around in the world? lol no

And I'm not even saying that something must be functional to be beautiful. It can be unfunctional, it can have no utility.

But dysfunction? Dysfunction is ugly, never beautiful.

I hate high heels, I feel they are foolish

Seems like a design flaw to base humans on something too heavy to lug around.

It's kind of bullshit to say that the human body is 60% water. If you have a bucket of water and infuse it with 40% dry flesh, you no long longer have any water. You now just have wet flesh. The human body is mostly just wet flesh. No water at all!
