I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

How can someone who values aesthetic beauty in cinema not have a 10' boner for Fury Road?
Because it's not a very interesting movie aesthetically. Or thematically. Or emotionally. I find it utterly mediocre.

Yeah, i was surprised on how dull it was. I give Miller kudos for doing it though, but the script was awful, the acting was worse, the photography was fucking digital...everything looked like a fuckin instagram filter.

I will see it again in black and white just because.

Harmony Korine is the worst thing that's ever happened to pop culture and/or cinema. Fuck this. And Fuck McConaughey for agreeing to be part of this insignificant shithead's "vision."

PS: I did not read the article. I just really hate Harmony Korine.

Korine might be one of the best directors in the last 25 years. A true visionary who doesnt need any major studio to do whatever he wants.

Nope. He isn't. Not even close. He is not a visionary. He is a hack. He is an asshole and void of talent. If you like Spring Breakers, good for you. I haven't seen it. But I've heard good things. But even an idiot can make one decent thing. One success does not a "visionary" make. He's one of the worst things that's happened to cinema (not the business but the art of) that I've ever encountered. By his own admission he has no vision. He's a petulant child and a sensationalist. He's less than shit.

I like how you don't really qualify your opinion at all. Seems pretty sensationalist and sounds a lot like a petulant child.
