I didn't remember him being in the show.

Yeah he was only around for a few episodes. If I remember right they dropped him cause they had too many characters to write for and actors to pay. Plus his nickname wasn't a good idea. It's a shame I liked him.

Yeah, I can’t imagine network TV in the 70s keeping a black character named Spearchucker around from week to week.
