sorry...about a dozen people coming over so far....got some large ribeyes, lots of burgers, and some jalepeno/cheese sausages from the butcher..probably grill up some peaches as well and fill them with some vanilla ice cream...they'll be a big red tub full of beer, plenty of wine and of course lots of brown liquor

bought too much beer for last nights bbq...I have about 30 beers floating in a big red plastic tub today

Me and the lady rolled a ton of lumpia a few days ago. I was just about to fry some up when I caught wind of a crawfish boil happening at a friend's house, so no lumpia tonight.

It's probably a lot like a clam bake, minus the dancing (when I picture a typical clam bake, I picture Elvis and Shelley Fabares and thus lots of dancing.)

Going to make some tapenade for muffulettas tonight. Maybe some sangria too. Picnic slated for tomorrow if the weather holds up. Hell, I'll find a covered area if it doesn't. Anyone have any good ideas for the picnic basket besides a meat & cheese plate and what I just mentioned?

I picked up some Nutter Butters and will display them artfully when setting the picnic table. Leftover fruit from the sangria is a good idea too. Thanks, Pete.

This tapenade turned out well. Food processors are fun, and I wish I'd purchased one sooner.

yeah...i had already intended on making chili cheese potatoes, but i went to the grocery store yesterday and saw the broccoli and cauliflower on sale...a few weeks ago i did roasted broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots cut up and marinated in italian dressing and it was pretty dang good
