Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Totally different topic, but I find the whole idea of religious conversion weird. I’m going to assume in this instance that she was a Christian. So now in one simple rite, she goes from “believing” Jesus is the son of god to “believing” Jesus is not the messiah.

Watching the Jenna Ortega episode, and this MTV Ridiculousness skit is cracking me up

I kept about half the episode on mute while I was reading, waiting til the 1975 came on because I wanted to see them. This particular skit I listened for the first minute or two, meh, muted and went back to my book.
