That's actually super tame for him. Seems lukewarm at best. I think he probably disliked it more than he expected but wants to stay positive.

Yea, i've gotta agree with LV here as well. Once the movie has been screened it is up to you to avoid spoilers. i do appreciate when reviewers note that "this review will contain spoilers" so as to help me decide on if im mentally fit to read said review. It can be annoying to read a review thinking there will be no spoilers (there is plenty to discuss about a movie than big plot lines or surprise appearances) but that is still on me for choosing to read a review prior to seeing a film.
