Less than 2 weeks, buddy.

I predict this will be the best sequel trilogy movie. Look forward to the trailer, and I usually don’t watch those for non SW movies.

If it has anything like the everlasting rewatchability that TFA has we will be winning.
It’s gonna be fantastic.

And I hope it’s full on OT fan service. Not in the story. Just hints nods and production design.
Although I would be totally happy with a three part simultaneous intercut final act too

I truly can't imagine that this movie will be better than The Last Jedi. That's a super high bar, for me. I also think it'll have a super difficult time besting Rogue One (though, I know that's not technically a ST film). At this point I just hope it's as good as TFA. If JJ can duplicate that, then he'll have won in my book.

Agreed with everything. TFA is a great movie for beng exciting and watching over again.

I hope he learns to pause at the important moments. Let a moment simmer. (Hans weird look at Rey. Give it one more beat)

I love TFA deeply but it’s break neck speed. It would have been perfect with just a little breathing room provided in those small important moments and editing choices.

Rian did it up the yazoo.

You know TLJ is the opposite for us two. I’ll bet good money that I’ll prefer IX to TLJ.

Break neck speed is a good way of describing it. Think IX will be the same.

Break neck speed is a good way of describing it. Think IX will be the same.

I get why it had to be. It needed to be in a world trying to rebirth a beloved franchise but competing with movies like marvel.

But it could have pumped the brakes here and there just a tiny bit

I'm 100% sure that you'll like 9 more than TLJ, yes. Totally agree. But since I personally think TLJ is the second best film in the entire franchise, 9 has it's work cut out as far as I'm concerned.

I hope that I will like it more, when I get the full story. There are some great scenes, and it’s a beautiful movie. But at the moment I feel its flaws are overwhelming. A shame because I love SW (prequels, sequels, comic books, cartoons and all).

That you didn’t hear about it probably speaks to the fact that we had a higher degree of shouty quality about the film (did I just say that about rm? Fuck)

But it is a theory and quite vibrant and alive out there since it happened
