He vetoes a bill by returning it to the house in which it began, usually with a written message. Normally, bills he neither signs nor vetoes within 10 days become law without his signature.

Also, do you think Trump will run out the clock on the covid relief package? If the bill goes to his desk tomorrow and he simply ignores it for 10 non Sunday days? That would reset everything for a new Congress to start from scratch.
Oh, and also, he vetoed the defense bill.
These last four weeks are going to be a fascinating watch, assuming Trump returns from Maralago.
