What do you think of the film's length? I enjoy it overall, but it can feel like a slog towards the end.Mickey wrote:Zodiac

Yeah I felt similarly. It's a good movie with some great performances (John Carroll Lynch is awesome), but it's a bit too long, especially for a film where the third act is primarily about....going through archival materials. And it tends to lean heavily into the details of the case at the expense of character.Ello Sailor wrote:What do you think of the film's length? Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
Lol I went to high school with that guy.Bi_3 wrote:Resolution
Pretty cool for a "horror" movie that probably cost like $500 to make. No other comments given how spoiler sensitive it is.
edit: NPR's largely, but not entirely, spoiler free review here
