i wonder if hes just become more a neutral fan of the game. probably feels good to just move on. okc being in the spotlight always brings the sonics back to the forefront so maybe its a good thing, and some momentum for the expansion ?

yeah probably. He seemed in good spirits with the franchise. I remember that pod with Bill Simmons were he said he was a OKC fan.

Karma.
Alright, so I too was sad when he got hurt, and wanted him to lose on the court, but man I despise him as a player.
not a very picturesque moment

Hartenstein looked at the guy and did a little dance.

Kinda insane that the NBA allows trades during the finals. If they save that stuff until draft night it would probably be a lot more interesting

Calling this karma is still in poor taste. Shit talk and gestures are a part of the game. When an athlete goes down with a serious injury, you'd have to be a bag of shit to celebrate it or imply they deserved it.

Draft didn't hold too many surprises.
Will be interesting to see how Harper fits into the Spurs guard rotation.
Knueppel might be the most unathletic top four pick of all time.

The Pelicans trading their 1st rounder next year to move up 10 spots was pretty dumb. Otherwise, there are too many smart teams out there now.

Yeah, the Pels front office is its own brand of stupid sometimes.

i like the idea of teams trading their pick and backing themselves to make the playoffs. it must be nice for the players and coach to not have to worry about the FO pulling the plug 30 games into the season to tank.
but the pels seem far away from that atm

i like what the bucks have done. $22 mil on the books for dame each of the next five years isn't that big of a deal with the cap increasing, and they had to do something to capitalize on the remainder of freak's prime. east is wide open this upcoming season too.
