He eroded the Republican coalition enough to strip them of national power, and elevated factions within the party that will continue to limit its political maneuverability and repel moderates. The world will always offer a steady stream of people who are looking for reasons to channel their anger into violence or otherwise abrasive political theater. But Trump’s days as a politician are done because there are too many mainstream actors who recognize the danger of associating themselves with his followers.

but its not about him. Someone will take his place. And Biden won for very very little. I think the next 4 years are going to be interesting in terms of who is going to be with trump and maybe replace him.

As for the mainstream actors...i imagine the media forgetting about this in 5 months. And pointing at Biden for how he will handle the pandemic or economy or you name it.
