I think this song does a great job bridging old school and contemporary hip-hop

Sounds like something you'd do though.

Man, Kanye is such a good producer.....

....But his vocals are just not good. Flow, tone, lyrics. There are so many other current mc’s I would prefer to hear over his songs that would put them over the top.

This album is so so so good.
Funny how his opening track is the same as Jay z first track themeatically (except kanye's is infinitely better)

Favorite tracks are thought about killing you, yikes, ghost town, and violent crimes.

As someone whose entire exposure to Kanye is my recent frequent listening to Yeezus, Ye did nothing for me on first listen. I miss the aggression and abrasiveness.

Outside of maybe a few odd tracks (Freestyle 4, I guess? Hell of a Life, possibly?), Yeezus is a sonic outlier in his discography.

Is there someone obvious kanye is talking to at the end of I Thougt About Killing You when he talks about going way back?

Shots fired but curious at who.

That was a trash review.
Also, pretty sure Kanye is talking to Jay Z on I Thought About Killing you. Not the killing part, but the end talking about going way back.

I think he’s still talking about himself.
