What if there were forum HOAs, thread owners associations if you will, that existed to weed out poorly maintained threads in the name of protecting the investment of good threads.

Before I started, I optimistically said it would take two days. It ended up taking me like four or five full days and three full afternoons. I would estimate it was somewhere north of forty hours of actually being on the roof.

If you ever visit my parents' backyard, please don't look too close at it. The ridge at the top could have been done better. But I feel confident it will keep rain out of the shed for a decade or so and it is not screamingly ugly from the the deck, so I'm happy

Thoughts on a $50 late fee tacked onto what was originally a $75 HOA fine?

67% late fee.

After about a thousand delays I finally got my patio heaters hooked up to electricity today.

Good timing, too, because some fucking wire came loose on my furnace or something and the heat went out in the middle of the night last night - so the electrician was able to fix that while he was here THANK GOD.

I don’t know if it was related or pure coincidence but my Nest “smart” thermostat had an error and it never did work again after factory reset so lucky I had the old one still lying around, reinstalled that and we’re good. But now my three Google “smart” speakers also got disconnected from each other and I’m having a hell of a time syncing them back up again.
