The Sonics was one of the funnest shows I've ever been to. I saw them at a theater in town a few months before that Easy Street performance. My wife and I were near the youngest people in the crowd, and some of of those old dudes in the crowd were fuckin' nuts. I loved it. A small little "mosh pit" of old dudes started at the front, and some dude who was probably ~75 years old got kicked out by security! The bassist can fucking WAIL. And he never loses steam. He was like that for 2 hours straight. I thought his head was going to explode. Mark Arm came out for a song, and was nothing compared to this dude. The keyboard player probably drank a 12-pack of beer during the show. A couple of them live in our part of town and I see them every so often around the neighborhood. I would have never known it had I not seen them live.. I would have thought it was just some sweet old grandad.

Had tix to see them next month as part of the Little Steven's Underground Garage tour, but they had to cancel their participation of the tour. Hope they're alright.

He is but some of his music is not that great. This song might be his best yet tho.
