For me, Sunshower has always been his finest moment.
For me too, I think. It's his greatest song that is fully his, along with maybe "Like Suicide".verb_to_trust wrote:For me, Sunshower has always been his finest moment.

Oh, im sure he'll tell you ALL about him, and then post a few dozen YouTube videos of him covering a song that kinda sounds like a soundgarden song, but isn't, yet dj thinks its really worth a listen because, you know, its his cousin... Sorry, just venting. Im fairly angry Cornell is dead.burl jam wrote:Hah! Rock music is something that you feel more when you are young. I get sad all the time thinking about how electric certain things were when I was say, 20, and I wasn't in an awesome rock band. Being a 52 year old rock star can be a pretty lonely place I betDev wrote:It's like if he made it to 50 why do it now? Statistically I'm sure suicide is correlated to youth.
depression isnt a condition owned by the young, dev, but whatever, i dont know any statisticsDev wrote:It's like if he made it to 50 why do it now? Statistically I'm sure suicide is correlated to youth.
It's actually highest among those between about 45 and 65.malice wrote:depression isnt a condition owned by the young, dev, but whatever, i dont know any statisticsDev wrote:It's like if he made it to 50 why do it now? Statistically I'm sure suicide is correlated to youth.
im unsurprised. Im now 51. Its way more difficult living now than when i was in my 20s. Not that ive ever been suicidal, but its easier to understand why my parents would tell me to enjoy my youth because there's very little about aging that's fun.Brett wrote:It's actually highest among those between about 45 and 65.malice wrote:depression isnt a condition owned by the young, dev, but whatever, i dont know any statisticsDev wrote:It's like if he made it to 50 why do it now? Everyone is different, I guess. While I had lots of superficial fun in my 20s, I'm much happier with my life now at 42. Agree aging sucks, but it's still life.malice wrote:im unsurprised. Im now 51.
