It’s been a while since I’ve seen it. It’s raining out, windows are open, wife is upstairs napping. It was a relaxing watch.

Final two 60s movies in this run, The Spy Who Came In From The Cold, and The Sand Pebbles.

Watching the first one now. Richard Burton the opposite of James Bond. All intelligence, and no car chases, or crazy stunts.

Judas and The Black Messiah.

Well, it looked good and the cast was good but ultimately it was kinda boring to me. Nothing that surprising again.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I guess I can say this: if you're expecting a film with graphic physical violence, this definitely isn't that.

Neither, which was a little disappointing because of how it was marketed. But when you settle into the fact that it's not actually an avenging angel type story, you can start appreciating it for what it is.
