Of all the problems with it, the worst part is the seriousness. Every award is portrayed as some major battle in the struggle against oppression. I think art is fairly important, but they aren't curing cancer or freeing the slaves here. None of this means anything. The Oscars used to be as much about what the women were wearing and drunken acceptance speeches -it felt like a party- now they can't even have a host for fear that he'll hurt someone's feelings or mock the whole thing.

Bring back Ricky Gervais.

And where is the coolness of Hollywood? I feel like I'm watching a bunch of school teachers.

Gave Good Time a second viewing. Enjoyed it much more this time. It's a really great movie.

Taxi Driver

Just started. It’s a good movie, I’ve seen it twice before. Hope I will enjoy it that extra percentage I’ve always waited for with this movie before.
