I’ve always wanted to watch this
I know it’s a movie that splits opinion. Everyone likes Deliverance, maybe not to a five star review, but everyone enjoys it. Barry Lyndon can receive anything from one star to five star reviews, and even among Kubrick-fans. It’s very long, and takes place in a very particular and different time. But I’ve always found it very enjoyable.

Barry Lyndon rules, super underrated movie. They did some incredible filmmaking to get some of the shots, worth reading about if you like the film.

With a little break in between, I just finished it.
Spoiler: show
It’s more sad than I remember. Probably because I have become a father myself, that part hit me harder.

Didn’t want to spoil too much for that reason.

Barry is the father I’m thinking of.

Not the best movie, but it’s easy and silly fun.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest

One of my favorites of the 70s.
