Same here. The Russia-angle made me not watch it. Kind of see him as the New York guy. But very funny so far.

Just settling in to watch My Neighbor Totoro with my neice and nephew. We watched Howl's Moving Castle a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it.

It was fantastic. Everyone loved it. It was such a nice movie and weird in all the right ways. We're all looking forward to watching more of Miyazaki's work.

I really wish I had given his movies a chance sooner.

Days Of Heaven

Very artsy by Terence Malick. I think The Thin Red Line is magical, and I hated The Three Of Life. His 70s movies Badlands and Days Of Heaven are both good, but also a bit strange. Very different, a bit slow.
